Prof. Pastor Deji Dero is a distinguished leader and educator based in Warri, Nigeria, embodying a harmonious blend of spiritual guidance and technical expertise. As the lead pastor of Threshing Floor City Church in Warri, he shepherds a vibrant congregation, passionately spreading the transformative message of God's kingdom. His ministry philosophy draws inspiration from the metaphor of yeast's pervasive influence, reflecting his belief in disseminating the sweet fragrance of God's kingdom until the kingdoms of this world become the Kingdom of our Lord.

In his professional journey, Pastor Deji previously lectured at Toulouse University, France, and currently holds the position of Deputy Chief Officer at the Department of Petroleum Engineering and Geosciences at the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) in Effurun, Nigeria. With a strong academic foundation, he is pursuing a PhD in Petroleum Engineering and holds an MSc in petroleum Engineering, a B.Eng in Mining Engineering, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Flow Assurance from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. Additionally, he is a certified Corrosion and Materials Professional (API 571). His expertise and contributions have played a vital role in developing skilled technical manpower for the oil and gas industry, in line with PTI’s commitment to delivering high-quality training and education in the sector.

Beyond his roles as Pastor and academia, Pastor Deji is an active member of The Navigators Nigeria, currently leading the Warri Area. His multifaceted involvement across these platforms showcases his dedication to both spiritual enrichment and professional excellence, making a profound impact on individuals and communities alike. He is happily married to Thelma, and they are both blessed with three wonderful Children
